I think people are really underestimating UNC...
QB: We have a solid quarterback in Renner (top 15, in my opinion) and we also have the ability to run the option with Marquise Williams...
RB: Our running back corp is not near as good as last years but if A.J. Blue or Romar Morris step up then they could put UNC over the top
TE: Jack Tabb and Justin Knox will receive a lot of looks this year with Boyd and Highsmith both gone
WR: One of the best freshman receivers in the country in Quinshad Davis will return with help this year in Sean Tapley and Jordan Fieulleteau
Offensive Line: Even with the loss of Cooper, Bond, and Williams, UNC will return one of the best offensive lines in the country stabled by James Hurts, Caleb Peterson, and Russell Bodine (Rimington Award Watch List)
Defensive Line: UNC's defensive line will be a solid one with Kareem Martin (one of the best DE's in the country), Tim Jackson, and Shawn Underwood
Linebacker's: Our linebacker corp is an area of concern... Shakeel Rashad, Travis Hughes, Tommy Heffernan, and Brandon Ellerbe lead a very young linebacker corp.
Secondary: Tim Scott, Jabari Price, Terry Shankle, Malik Simmons, Sam Smiley, and Tre Boston lead a very deep Tar Heel secondary.
Special Teams: Thomas Moore and Thomas Hibbard are guys that need to step up and do their job this year and make up for the loss of Casey Barth. As far as punt returning/kick returning... Romar Morris, Roy Smith, Kedrick Davis, and Tre Boston should be able to handle those duties just fine.
