Pander to the religious right.

How many times has Sanford said the words god, grace, and forgiveness over the last month?

Bless his heart, he is a changed man. He has to be! He said he is saved through grace!

U mad bro?

Nevermind his opponent was a crazy b***h that thought she could win because of her brother.

10% beat down at that.

That being said...I don't like Sanford.  I never really trust a cheater.  People deserve the politicians they elect.

Money can't buy everything right?

http://www.politico....oney-91051.html

Independent liberal groups, national Democrats and influential donors spent nearly $1 million to flood the airwaves in support of Elizabeth Colbert Busch — outspending Mark Sanford’s conservative allies by more than 5-to-1. …

Actually, the secret is just be a republican running against a democrat.

Just as in DC and several other places, be a democrat running against a republican (Marion Barry).

Makes you wonder how they possibly could have some of the worst school grades in the country.

Using my google skills ...and 60 secs later......

Students First Grade. (state school system rankings....)

http://reportcard.studentsfirst.org/

SC - GPA 1.02 Rank 30th

NC - GPA 1.00 Rank 32nd (granted NC did just elect a Repub controlled state congress)

DC - GPA 2.40 Rank 4th   (have a strange feeling that Ed spending influences this rating)

TX - GPA 1.02 Rank 30th  (Ted Cruz FTW!!!!)

Education Week

http://www.edweek.or...port_cards.html

SC - 76.9

NC - 77.7

DC - 71.5

TX - 79.4

So a NC vs SC fight is like two nerds arguing Kirk vs Picard. (btw...my nerdy self is voting Kirk)

yeah K-12 education in NC and SC isn't much different.

Higher education is no comparison though. NC and SC would likely be very similar if not for NC's exceptional university system and excellent private universities.

They have helped turn NC into a financial, pharmaceutical, engineering, and tech powerhouse.

Do you remember me being a raving pro-McCain person?  I voted for him considering the alternative, but still doesn't change the fact I don't really "trust" them.

Well the good news is South Carolina is pretty much the political laughingstock of the nation, this will not drag it's reputation any lower.
