Cam Newton...

He surprises me every year with his shear unadulterated awesomeness.

The player that I feel will exhibit the most noticable on the field improvement would be Frank Alexander.

The player that I am hoping surprises us the most is Beason. Returning to "Pro-Bowl" form along side Luke would be Awesome.

Rosario is a TE! Lamont Bryant is the WR.

Which is strange because Rosario was a WR in college, and is now transitioning to TE in the NFL. And Bryant was a TE in college, and transitioning to WR in the NFL. Total mind fug.

If Kugbila is starting for this team early on this year we more than likely have catastrophic issues.

People are assuming we simply drafted an Amini Silatolu clone in the 4th and that isn't the case.

Silatolu was a much better prospect coming out and still struggled greatly early on.

It will be hard since expectations are already high for him but I think Luke Kuechly will blow our minds with his coverage development  and blitz progression.  Huge year for Clark Kent DPOY.

If Thomas Davis can just replicate last season's production again, I think we can all agree that he has been a pleasant suprise coming back from multiple ACL injuries.

My suprise player is Kawann Short on defense and Ted Ginn on Offense....

I think with Star commanding double teams that Kawann Short will have a statiscally better season than anyone expects.

If Ted Ginn can return anything (punts, kickoffs) further than 10 yards on average, I think the whole Panther fan base should be pleasantly suprised as we have not had an above average return man since Smitty converted to full-time WR.  Our average starting field position should improve which is a very underrated stat.

If LaFell stays healthy he gets 70 grabs easy. He's going to abuse some DB's this year and half the league only knows him as "That other dude down in Carolina".

Maaaan, I was screaming to toss up to him when he was iso'd against his boy Claiborne against Dallas last year.  Oh my god that wouldve made a statement.
