"When this process first started out, I needed to go to a contender," Woodson said. "I know I am toward the end of my career. At this point, I want to play football. So if it is a rebuilding stage, at this point if that is the circumstances I have to play under, then that is what I am going to do." Woodson is confused by the lack of interest in himself and other 30-plus-year-old free agents. Some teams that could still use safety help are the Panthers, Browns, Cowboys, Broncos, Chiefs, Vikings, Jets, Chargers, and Rams.

He has 7 illigitimate children in Fremont, Ohio so I'm sure he will play for anyone.

With that being said, SIGN HIM.

He is not capable of playing corner anymore but his ball skills are off the chart. He would help cover some of our weaknesses in our secondary. He would be an excellent safety for us if he is capable of remaining healthy.

He'd be a FS on this team. Would you start him over Godfrey at this point? If not he'd most likely have play on STs as a backup...and we know thar ain't happning at his age

I've been a fan of his a long time. He would help our team....does Gettles want a stop gap?

I know Rivera would love him.

Woodson come on down
