Yea I don't think Lester is some phenomenal player like some people are making him out to be. He looked really, really bad in some games.  Some of it, I think is coachable. He takes bad angles and like Promethean said isn't great in man coverage.  He is a ball hawk, seems to be a play-maker though. I hope he makes the team.

Damn Barner and Star are impressive physically. It's unusual for a guy of Barner's size to be as yoked as he is. Star is just on another level...look how massive his arms are compared to guys that even outweigh him

Right now I'd say Lester makes the squad. I can see him providing some pretty good depth as he is coached up.

Thanks Zod!

Barner is one solid lil fugger. And imagine, with a year of NFL level workouts, he could gain more muscle...

He has stiff hips, weak man coverage skills (better zone defender) and no burst off the snap but the guy can play regardless. Lester had his crappy games (like Tennessee) this year but I see him making our squad.

At worst, he'll provide good depth for The Panthers.

i think we'll keep on doing a lot of zone so that's not that big of a deal.

very rare that we break out into man coverage anymore.

I feel like there are more DBs with long hair than any other position.

Heh I was going to say something similar.  If Lester and Godfrey are starting we have the league's longest haired Safeties heh.  "With our hair powers combined, we are TROY POLOMALU!"

... hopefully doesn't take you guys too long to get that reference...

2nd attempt...

Any word on Robert Jones?  For those who were there?  He's one of the bigger bodies on the OL.

Can not wait to see this guy rip off a 40 yarder on the Taint defense.

Crap, you are right. There were two #60s today. They ran out of numbers. Didn't make it very easy.

Barner looks strong but not freakish by any means. Star on the other hand has arms the size of Chance Warmack's legs. #91 looks like a comic book store geek that snuck into camp.
