He was a damn good player for us, but left on bad terms.  If we sucked at DE, I'd probably hate him.  However, DE is one of our biggest strengths, so whatever.  He moved on and so have the Panthers.  Time for the fans to do the same.

I really didn't hate him when he left, just kinda thought "good riddance".  He never seemed to work hard (even when he was playing well) and didn't seem to like playing here, even though at lot of people loved him (at least early in his career).

He had all the physical talent in the world and could make big plays when he wanted to, but ultimately I don't think he ever scared offenses the way a DE with his talent should have.  He just didn't have the kind of nasty attitude of someone like LT or Watt.

(Also, yes this is my first post.  Been lurking for a while, whats up guys.)

Before there was LeBron, there was Peppers.

I don't want him back. He acted like Carolina and Richardson didn't appreciated him. For what exactly, Julius? You were a physical freak and an immensely talented (but apathetic) pass rusher who had N. Carolina's love, fandom and loyalty. Was it ultimately returned? No. You chose bright lights and big money over home.

Peppers is one of the best in the league.

Always fun to watch him play.

Let's stop acting like Pep wasn't a baller. The dude is durable as hell, and only had 1 bad year. Easily the 2nd best player the Panthers have ever had, maybe even the 1st.

There has been times that I've wondered how good our defense would've been with Pepp alongside CJ, but then emerged the Kraken!

Ummm, no. Peppers shrinks when you need him the most, and he's proving that in Chicago. Melton singlehandedly saved The Bears' DL last season.

I don't have any hatred to the guy.  He wanted to go to another team, so he did.  Besides, we have 2 DE's that put in more effort than Peppers does.

ancient history.

move on. we've got a whole other team and potentially the best DL and front 7 in panther history.

let's be glad for that
