Charles Woodson's agent Carl Poston told me the #Panthers & #Raiders recently called inquiring about his client.

Charles Woodson's agent Carl Poston also told me the #Raiders just sent him an initial offer for Woodson as well

He's visiting with the Broncos today. Id suspect they'd be his first choice.  No mention of if we gave him an offer.

Never hurts to call and gauge what he wants. Just like being on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu.

Would he even start for Denver?  I assume he wants to start...

I assume he wants a ring... if so Denver will probably be the choice (unless the 49ers call)...

Love to see him here.

Think he would be great for a one-year deal, dropping lil nuggets of wisdom for our young secondary

I'm glad to hear we at least contacted him.  I'd be concerned if we didn't.

He wants too much money.

I'd love him if the price is right but considering the the cap space man I just don't see it happening.

I can't remember where I saw this (maybe PFT) but he wants like $3 million for one year?

Even if we don't sign him what this shows is we're not comfortable with our secondary behind closed doors no matter what gettleman says to the media (this should have been obvious in the first place anyways)

He probably would not start here either.

He is 37 years old. There is a reason he is on the market still.

Panthers secondary would go from bad to respectable with that signing.  He might not start but he'd be a rotational player that could mentor the young guys.  Never hurts to have a guy with his credentials on your team.

I'd take woodson if he was using a walker.

If nothing else, just having Woodson in our secondary to help the young guys like Thomas/Norman/etc. along would be amazing.

I dunno... if he wants to start and has confidence, a 1 year contract for a likely starting gig is the best way to showcase your wares.

Besides he already has a ring.
