He lost the speed to play CB effectively a few years ago. Seeing him a few times last year, he may have lost the speed to play Safety too. He would've been picked up by now if it was just an injury risk concern.

We won't. People just hear the name and want him. He is 37 years old. That is old as fug for a CB in the league. No way we offered more than a mill.

correction, old as fig for the league for any position

What does it tell you about our secondary if we're contacting Woodson? I still have hopes for Mitchell.

I think that it says we are VERY young at DB.....and a seasoned vet like Woodson would help greatly in their development.

True and not just the DBs

Lookwhat happened when we brought in Vinny T. The whole offense learned how to practice like pros.

If he comes cheap I'm OK with it; but anyone thinking he'd be more than a rotation safety and vet mentor are deluding themself.

I don't see how he doesn't sign with Denver. Contender, and a defense that would allow him to sub in/out and play his game, without too much pressure on him. Obv the best way to get him another ring.

Hate to break it to you, but Carolina is a contender. Go Panthers!

He probably would not start here either.

He is 37 years old. There is a reason he is on the market still.

Still one of the best to play the game.  If he were to come to Carolilna he starts if healthy, and Panthers become much better team.

He'd be a good vet presence to help mentor our young db's and even at the ripe old age of 37 his experience outweighs the step or two he's lost in comparison to either Mitchell, Lester or Campbell. At the right price I'd love Woodson, but it seems he's leaning toward Denver.
