Edmund Kugbila Sticking Around In Charlotte

Recommended Posts

West African immigrants are known for their strong work ethic and families. Doesn't surprise me this guy appears to have the drive needed.

I really hope the O-line takes a liking to him (really, what's not to like?). On the flip side, this is the guy that's here to replace Piggy so who knows how that'll play a factor.

Rooting for this guy a lot

Wow.... I have this feeling Edmund will play better than Amini this year. Fewer mental lapses. Plus Amini can show him how veterans and defensive coordinators trued to fool him early in the season. Although he played Division 2 he is making a smaller jump and we are leaving him at the same position. I don't expect him to start week 1, but I do expect him to be the starter before the season midpoint.

I agree, but there are a few reasons other than mentioned here:

1. Kugbila will not be switching positions like Silatolu did.

2. Shula is looking to run the ball more, less read option and trickery--confusing to new linemen.

3, Kugbila will probably not have to pull as much.
