49ers Crabtree suffers torn achilles

Best Answer 4Corners, 22 May 2013 - 01:16 PM

This is a devastating loss for the 9ers and Crabtree. Not to mention fantasy footballers, too.

Going to be interesting to see what the new Golden Boy of the NFL Kaepernick does now after losing such a vital part of his offense. Not to mention the film that's now available on him.

you never know when one of the WRs you depend on is going to go down.

Seems like a Back handed attack at the panthers for not drafting one lol

Sucks for Crabtree and the 49ers.  Seahawks are stoked I'm sure.

Better hold Steve Smith out of everything until Week 1.

I'm sure it wasn't "official" until they ran test on Kobe, too.

That's just one example. Seen it many times, injury not as bad as feared. Hopefully this is the case.

never wish injury upon anyone. will be interesting to see how Kaep performs without him. He still has Davis, Boldin, Gore and a heck of an offensive line. Not quite comparable to losing Fitzgerald

Wish that was the case for some of the Panthers' injuries: Beason, Davis, Jenkins, Smith.

Maybe I'm different then some guys here but this is great news. Hopefully this trend continues. First Irvin now Crabtree. Key players for teams we play against. I want to win

well it's a good thing they took their WR corps seriously and picked up boldin and drafted patton.

hate to see anyone get hurt...but it happens!  I'm sure I care about as much as the average 9er fan would care if any Seahawk player got hurt!!!  yup....about zero!

Crabtree was my best waiver wire pickup half way through my FF season, won me a few games. Oh well injuries happen, thats why its hard to stay on top.

Them picking up Boldin is looking real good now; not to mention the drafting of Patton.  They'll be ok.  I now see Patton putting up some big numbers this year.

Supposedly it wasn't a rupture so he might be able to return by the end of the season.

Sucks to hear someone got hurt, but the 49ers still have plenty of talent on that offense.
