World cup is in Rio first in 2014. Then Olympics in 2016.

Rio is an absolute mess...a drug fueled warzone. In places...

But drug lords aren't terrorists and there aren't many muslims in Brazil

Watch this documentary if you haven't already.

so the dude with the machete feels justified taking an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth(which is in the bible and not the Koran) and he lives...in....England?

So they just hit you with a car
Or hack you with machette's and knives.

Wonder if they decide that cars are the new weapon and just start swerving into crowds? Could probably take out a dozen or so at a time, I would think.

I don't think you fully understand the relationship between the Quran and religious texts that proceeded it - namely the Torah and The Gospel.

not often the Koran is quoted for "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth"

sure there is the same concept but with more passage.

maybe im having fun with some ironic semantics where the muslim dude just didn't feel like saying the entire quote for brevity for the camera person. maybe, i don't know.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it is in the Quran or the Old Testament, it still "counts" as part of a Muslim's faith and holy book.

see my previous post. for the Qur'an there is a more of an extend passage that includes more where the bible says eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth.

its my warped sense of irony.

eh, I know, lolwikipedia, but https://en.wikipedia...or_an_eye#Islam

I'm not sure what you are getting at.  As far as I can tell and heard, there is nothing ironic or weird about a Muslim applying "eye for an eye" to a situation.

Wondering if the Muslims really do want another "holy war"?

We are all too PC for this to happen these days, but it's almost like they are trying to start the crusades over again.

What these two warped and misguided individuals have done is reprehensible, but not inexplicable.

In the minds of  many Muslims in the Middle East, they have been fighting the "Crusaders" all their lives.  Don't forget the US and UK have been actively supporting cruel and repressive dictatorships in the Middle East for generations.  To make a bad situation even worse, the US and UK went ahead and started a "preemptive war" in Iraq that violated international law.

In the final analysis, people are more alike in their behavior than we would like to admit, regardless of their ancestry or their religious convictions.  Disrespect and abuse a culture and their beliefs long enough and you will radicalize it.  Welcome to the blowback.

I think the main issue for me is the beheading..that doesn't happen here or in the UK.

It's a Muslim thing. So far.

Oh and mexico too.

what im getting at is he quoted something that almost 99% of the time is directly associated with the bible, NOT the Qu'ran. not many would know there is a similar text but with MORE things to be vengeful about.

again. its my warped sense of irony for this.

Such behavior is intended to get headlines at least if it is done in England.

Just running someone down with a car, not so much.

It has actually happened in the USA during the last few years, longer if the truth be told, but the press hasn't made an issue of it.  What are the chances that if the MSM could connect a Muslim to these other killings it would be front page news?

Now that war has spread here, the threat sounds extreme. But then again, so did Brewer when she warned of beheadings in the desert — and was mocked for it.

One thing is certain: They're here now.

So where are the mainstream media that had been so quick to criticize Brewer for calling attention to the very serious issue of Mexico's vicious drug war, which is now spilling over onto American soil?
