Marc-Andre Gragnani Signs With HC Lev

I owe you guys an apology, I received some false info.

There has been a defeseman name Marc-Andre to sign with HC Lev of the KHL, however; it is Marc-Andre Gragnani not Marc-Andre Bergeron.

Gragnani is a restricted free agent who has decided to take his talents to the Czech Republic and play in the KHL. Being that Gragnani is a restricted free agent, the Hurricanes still hold his rights if he ever decided to return to the NHL/AHL

What's funny is that these two guys share the same name and a very similar game as they both are more of offensive-defeneman than true stay at home defenseman.

Gragnani was signed as a free agent (on a one year contracts) this past year by Carolina, where he played one game for the Hurricanes and 42 games for the Canes AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Marc-Andre did not record any points in his one game with Carolina but did however record 3 goals, 25 assists, and 28 points for the Hurricanes AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Good Luck in the Czech Republic MAG's!!!
