I'd agree with the Haloti Ngata comparisons.  I know a lot of people say Kris Jenkins, and I'd hope for him to have an impact like that - a bigger one, honestly - but he just doesn't remind me of Jenkins right now.  Maybe it's because Jenkins was a better pass rusher (for the moment, hoping that changes).

I can see the Jenkins angle with his quick step. Really every player is unique. Beyond that some players are used better than others. If the staff puts him in good positions he can succeed but they need to rotate him for rest so he takes those plays off on the sideline.

The first step comparison makes sense.

 

Jenkins best performance on that front was in the 03 playoff game against the Cowboys.  Brentson Buckner saw a tell from Quincy Carter (he wiggled his fingers right before the snap) and toldthe rest of the line.  Jenkins took full advanatage.
