Ive been critical of AE but I am really pulling for the guy. WR is one of the hardest positions to transition to in the NFL from college and he wasnt even a WR in college. I think its been a challenge for him but he is putting in the work and its starting to show.

I say start him every snap in preseason. That will give him all the opportunities he needs to show that he can do something productive. And like I said last year, cut clausen and put AE as the third QB.

This column is about Armanti Edwards.

Some of you just stopped reading.

Like I said last year, cut AE and keep Clausen as the 7th string WR.  The production should be about the same.

Watch Armanti get 85 receptions, 1235 receiving yards and 10 TD's.

I'm pulling for any kind of answer at WR at all and if AE could be another threat for us then that is nothing but good for this team. I think he has the 1 up on Adams right now but we probably won't really know until TC.

I think most Panther fans had an inflated sense of what AE could become.  It is a sobering idea that, even with 3 years of experience, at best, he will be a minimal contributor to an NFL team.

AE is pretty damn quick. He doesn't have elite speed but he isn't the slow bum everyone on the forum tries to make him out to be. I think he has legit NFL talent he just lacks tenacity and confidence and the reps to build on that vice versa.

It was mentioned  here a while back by a fellow huddler that AE ability as a threat was reduced when he came to the NFL. Not because he changed but because the competition got better. I would also agree with that and with that I don't think AE would ever be a dangerous QB in the NFL. WR is actually a good position for him to learn because he has the quickness to be good at it. He is also intelligent and if he can become the craftsmen that a WR needs to be then he just may turn out okay.

Steve Smith once had 4.3 speed but it was never his speed that made him the best. Not saying AE is Smith at all but I get tired of the notion that speed makes a player. Joe Adams is fuggin fast and his agility is legit nasty. But the arm chair WR's on the huddle like to believe they can outrun these guys just because they see a punter have a good angle on a guy.

Though I say without any professional scouting or coaching experience like everyone else on the huddle. lol

I want the best 53 on the roster. If AE earns that designation then so be it; good for him.

I have nothing against him and it can only help if he realizes his potential.

The melt down of this place would be astounding!! It would be fun to watch too!

I've said in another thread. After watching Armanti for 4 years in college, he plays scared in the NFL.

Yep, he seems like he is terrified when he is out there.

I think he is scared of fuging up and getting cut. Maybe he will let loose this year, i dunno.

I'm use to seeing the guy do touchdown Superman dives over defensive lineman and linebackers, not getting caught by punters.  It's ridiculous.

Not impressed. Wait till training camp when he can actually get jammed at the line and hitting is allowed.
