I remember the last Panthers defensive lineman to predict the unit was going to break the sack record.

It was Eric Swann.

It was a pretty dumb statement and as expected was based by many.

We would be bashing any player on another team who made a similar statement.

First Kalil last year with the newspaper ad and now thus.

We have won 6 and 7 games the past two seasons. Given that, I would prefer that our guys keep quiet and go about their business.

It wasn't a dumb statement at all. We should be happy that our players are showing some swag and confidence instead of this tow the JR line for Harris Teeter discount BS.

Whether the team wins or not has nothing to do with setting goals and being vocal about it.

A WHOLE PIE!

For as violent and physical as football is, it's crazy how so many men that enjoy reading and talking about it can be such whiny pussies.

I wonder how that would affect his contract negotiations...

I would not want Cam or Luke or Jon making such a crazy statement. I like it coming from Kraken though. He is the Ric Flair of the Panthers. Whoooiooo

Agree 100%.

But, you can understand why other team's fans are posting poo in the comment section.  It is kind of an absurd comment to make.....but it does fit his personality.

It't such an absurd statement that I can't believe people would even try to make it into any kind of issue.

NFL fans are such drama queens, that is the only thing I take from this story.

This just funy and that's the spirit!

Serious peoples should stay away from messages like this.

imho Kraken is just very happy with our front 7, like any panthers fan btw.

end of the story.
