GOOGLE JIM BOB COOTER

so george zimmerman's trial is underway

Zimmerman kept following him after being told by the police to leave him alone. Nothing would have happened if Zimmerman wouldn't have been acting like a asshole. Martin was minding his business point blank. So how could Martin have avoided a situation that he never started?

Zimmerman needs to be in prison for the rest of his life.

Hilarious to hear people continue to talk like they know what actually happened that night....even though there were no witnesses.

Zimmerman was an idiot, but both made bad decisions that led to this situation.

So Martin is a idiot for getting shot?

Hello Zimmerman pulled the trigger he is the idot, why pull a gun out and shoot a teenager kid? He is a punk he took another kid life because he was walking the street on a late night. Martin would still be alive if it wasn't for that douchebag Zimmerman.

Would you call both of them idiots if Martin was somebody in your family? I think not.

No one here was there that night and none of us here are pro village enough to have all the evidence so can we please stop talking as if we know this case inside and out. You either stand on the side of trayvon and you think he was slaughtered or Zimmerman and he was trying to the right thing and it got out of hand and ultimately led to someone losing their life. Can we please not make anymore threads til this stupid thing is done?

None of us know what happened, however it seems that Martin made 1 really foolish move, and Zimmerman followed up with quite a few foolish moves, 1 resulting in a death.

I will wait for real evidence rather than jump to conclusions that anyone should be put to death or completely ruled innocent.

This. To pretend trayvon was completely blameless and a victim and Zimmerman should be put to death is ignorant and To pretend all Zimmerman dd was protect himself is ignorant

This is exactly what I meant.

So the defense opened their case today with a knock-knock joke.  Only the finest defense for Mr. Zimmerman.

http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/06/24/trayvon-martin-trial-the-prosecution-opens/

Here are the five key points he made regarding the case, which will determine whether Zimmerman is criminally responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager, on the night of their encounter in a gated community in Sanford on February 26, 2012:

1. “fuging punks, these assholes always get away,” were the first words assistant prosecutor Guy used in his opener, describing what Zimmerman was recorded saying to a police dispatcher just minutes before he fatally shot Martin. Guy went directly to the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin in February 2012. His intent was to show that Zimmerman had already made up his mind that he should confront Martin rather than waiting for police.

2. Zimmerman’s story doesn’t add up. Guy says that the defendant told police that while he was sitting in his car, Martin ran behind a set of townhouses in the gated community where the shooting took place. But the prosecutor says other records dispute Zimmerman’s statement to the police: “Listen to the non-emergency call that happened in real time and you will see that didn’t happen.”

3. Nobody heard Martin threaten Zimmerman. Guy argues that despite Zimmerman’s statements, witnesses did not hear one of the main claims defense lawyers are hanging their case on: Zimmerman’s assertion that Martin said, “You are going to die tonight.” Matter-of-factly, Guy lays out to jurors: “You are going to hear from people out there. Nobody heard that.”

4. None of the witnesses saw the entire incident.  Guy maintained that people in the vicinity of the shooting heard part of the fight between Zimmerman and Martin — some heard the beginning, some heard the end, but all these amount to nothing more than “slices.”

5. There is no evidence that Martin actually attacked Zimmerman. Despite Zimmerman’s injuries  — he had cuts on his head and a broken, bloodied nose — none of his blood or DNA was on Martin. “He didn’t have bruised knuckles. He didn’t have swollen hands. The only injury to his hand that was capable of being photographed was a small abrasion on his left ring finger. Trayvon Martin was right handed. That was the only injury to his hands.” Guy said.
