Is short and star an upgrade over Ron and Dwan?

Short an upgrade over dwan? Dunno, but dwans still on the team, so we won't get worse at that position. Star over Ron? Without a doubt.

He is much more talented and has a higher ceiling than Ron....so  i'm assuming when he comes in he is going have more impact.....your not gonna go into the season thinking your # 1 draft pick and  #1 DT  from the draft classes that had a very very very good DT and OL isn't going to have better impact replacing  a so so so DT.

Since Ron couldn't stay on the field, I'd have to assume yes on that part.

I'm really hoping they sub out the DTs a lot, to keep the rookies from hitting the wall.

I'd like to point out that a game has yet to be played and so we have no idea if our DTs were upgraded yet

Well at least we know we have more of them.I think it is safe to say that someone will be an upgrade to Fua.More importantly we have depth for rotation.

Considering rookie DTs take awhile to adjust to playing in NFL trenches.....it shouldn't be a shock if they aren't in 2013.

Careful, every season the huddle goes into the seasons with assumptions they think are sure things and every season they are wrong.
