I've hated the pats since 03... but them coming off a bye week is troubling for any team.

Only since 2003?

I would not bet on home field advantage. BofA will be Gillette Stadium South. Just like the Giants and Jeta games will be MetLife South.

This.  But if the panthers happen to have a positive record going into that game it could be a considerably "home" crowd.

people act like brady has never played a down without top shelf talent all over his offense.

the patriots did make it to the afc championship game with troy brown and reche caldwell as their starting wide receivers once.

I'm excited that we have a Monday night game period! I am shooting on trying to make it to that game. I would spend the weekend in charlotte up until the game. Like another poster said, it doesn't matter who is out there, Tom Brady is throwing them the ball. I think it will be a good game. Besides, I'm enjoying having mental movies in my head of Kraken and Cj hitting Brady at the same time with him fumbling the ball. I'm definitely ready for some football!

Belichick will literally run circles around Rivera, strafing his game plan from every conceivable angle.
Expect 2nd round pick Shane Vereen to have a break out season for the Pats at RB this year.
As SCP suggested, hopefully the Red, White and Blue in the stands won't be too embarrassing on National TV.

I gave the stink eye to a guy at Harris Teeter last night wearing a Patriots sweatshirt. A fuging sweatshirt and its like 85 out. I tried to convey "fug you bandwagon bitch ass mother fuging Pats loser" with my stink eye stare.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a signing soon by the Pats at WR. Who's that talented crazy guy that no one will touch?

I highly doubt they bring Loyd back.

How many WRs have come and gone from the Pats that Brady made look all-pro? Him missing a few receivers isn't going to hurt him. He makes the receiver.

I would counter that with Belichik makes the QB

The Panthers are playing? I'm looking forward to it! The Panthers are practicing? I'm looking forward to it! The Panthers are sitting in team meetings? I'm looking forward to it!

Basically, if it involves the Panthers, I'm looking forward to it.

Agreed...

When was the last time the Pats were in town? Was it in 2005 when it was 100+ degrees and the stadium ran out of water?

We tend to lose these types of games; games where a team is missing a key contributor.  I remember last year when folks were happy Nicks was going to be out for the Giants.  The Giants then proceeded to whoop our a** without Nicks.

We have made many shitty backup QBs look like HOFers over the years. I have actually learned to dread hearing that an opposing team has an injured starter :-(.

With unproven, young, starters at CB, Brady might have a field day on our secondary.

Brady's offense isn't centered around the wideouts but rather the TE's and the slot receivers.
