For the League minimum, if Carolina brought him in and signed him to replace Jimmy, I'd be OK with that. He certainly can hold a clipboard as well as Pickles, and we know he can out-throw him.

Many formal nfl players are now broke. It didn't stop them from having successful careers.
I know this is a bit old, but we are talking about $38 million. The number of rookies who were given that amount of money is less than 5 players. How many do you know that BLEW $5 million per year until they were broke?
Supporting your point, MOST NFL players who make over $10 million (something like 80%) are broke within 3 years of playing.
