YOLO!

Why not go after Rajon Rondo?

So Rondo is the better player but not better than Kemba because it's Charlotte. lol

Do you guys know about basketball?

Any smart fan would take Rondo over Kemba/#4 pick in a heartbeat. You get Rondo and you suddenly have a foundation player you can build around and attract other FA's. It's time to get an established player to be the face of the franchise. No more Okafor/Jrich/Wallace/Jackson to be the face of this team.

[email protected], you're getting offensive over one of your fuggn thought. It's a fuggn thought! Not a rumor. If this was a rumor like the Bosh talk, there's be some truth to it. There's crap here.

For Max money Rondo is not a good fit for Charlotte bc the team is desperate for a scorer. Rondo is not that... So ask yourself: Does Bwood-YOLO!. Know about basketball?

Bc bringing in Rondo with no established scores equals: still zero identity on the team. Bismack will not avg 6 more points a game with him here. Actually Rondo would regress stastically and sulk bc of it.

Thanks for playing how to destory an already terrible team.

The problem with that trade is not that Rondo is untalented, but that he fills none of the team's biggest needs.  He cant shoot threes, isnt a go to scorer, and replaces the best player/ position on the roster.  Adding his big contract also means that the team wouldnt have enough cap space to sign a big name free agent (even if you amnesty Thomas)

Trade just makes no sense for Charlotte

Rondo makes 12 mil a year, that's actually a good contract for a top 5 pg. Chris Paul is a max contract at 18mil.

*But back to the Rondo trade thatlookseasy is probably right Rondo doesn't fill the biggest need which is a pf/c who can score. I was just thinking of a face of the franchise type player who would make Charlotte a attractive destination.

*By the way who is Bwood?

1. Rondo Averages 13 points a game, Kemba scores 17.7 WITH THE BOBCATS.

2. Rondo has only played one full season out of 7

3. Rondo has a .645% FT. Kemba has a .798%

4. Rondo averaged 1.8 steals a game last year. Kemba averages 2.0

5. Rondo has a 2.41% 3 point shooting  Kemba averages .322

6. Rondo is in the middle of his career.

7. Rondo just tried getting in a fight with his coach.

Rondo just happens to score about 3 more assists a game, are you saying Kemba can't develope to average 3 more assists... Considering Rondo has played 7 years and Kemba has played 2. Highly likely.

2014 is the year to get the "face of the franchise" type player in the draft. And that's assuming you don't consider Kemba to be the "face of the franchise". Seeing your posts in this thread, I'd say that's a safe assumption.

This idea is stupid.

Rondo doesn't fit the rest of the team here and would hurt more then help the Bobcats.

Kemba statistically was a top 10ish PG last season

Rondo is a headcase and would want more then he currently makes to play for Charlotte. So that takes away the Bobcats ability to make the team better at key positions like PF.

Rondo can't shoot, add that to the fact that the Bobcats don't have a low post presence or scorers at the wings and it makes the Bobcats worse offensively.

Rondo has a long injury history and is in no way shape or form worth Both the #4 pick and Kemba.
