The longest part of the year is upon us.  The gap between Mini-Camps and Training Camp.

I was looking at the divisions and thought of a fun way to break the teams up.

Cut me some slack.  I am pushing it in a few places but when you are waiting for the boss to get done with a meeting and you are all caught up.  Nothing more to do then let the mind wander.

Divisions are the way they are because they are close to together. 49ers and Redskins? Child please.

Did you know that from 1970-2001, the Falcons and the Saints were in the NFC West with the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers? (The Rams moved to St. Louis in 1995.)

By the way, you must have the penchant for fun and frivolity of a small rock.

Kind of. A few of the divisions are geographically centralized.

But the you have MAI-BUF, NY-DAL, SF-STL, KC-SD, HOU-IND etc

At least in the case of Miami in the AFCEast, that was a decision made to maintain a rivalry.  This is the same with the NFC East I believe.

Others may be the same, not sure.

I like it. That took some thoughtful planning to get it that well worked out. Ill give it 8 out of 10 offseason stars. Congrats!
