Saw this on NFL.com and didn't see it posted

Don't disagree too much.  Replace Beuerlien with Otah and I would be happy.

I wouldn't include Ricky Manning. Nobody talks about him, but he was super solid during his time here.

Also, Mike Rucker for underrated?

I don't think any of the underrated guys are actually underrated and any of the overs are overrated.

meaning that the guys they say are under seem to be well respected and nobody ever rated those other guys high enough to overrate them.

Jarrett and Colbert are probably to the point of being underrated because people sh*t on them so much.

Walls is well rated amongst Panthers fans, but under by the rest of the world.

". In 1999, Beuerlein threw for 4,436 yards with 36 touchdowns to 15 interceptions, but failed to lead the Panthers to the playoffs. In fact, that team never was better than .500 and suffered an embarrassing loss to a bad Steelers team in Week 16 when a win likely would have sealed a playoff berth. A franchise quarterback needs to make the playoffs, and the Panthers never finished with a winning record in their three seasons with Beuerlien under center."

Here's another example of this stupid "QB is 100% responsible for W/L" fallacy stigma currently applied to Cam rearing its ugly head. In 1999 the Panthers had the 28th ranked defense. Of course they also failed to mention Fred Lane fumbling at the goal line in the first quarter of that steelers game, the fact that the defense had no answer for Bettis, and the fact that a shitstorm really paralyzed the offense, not the steelers' defense. I guess that was all Beuerlein's fault too.

I actually liked "he hate me" I think it was more the name than his performance though.

Bates is spot on. I think many often think Smith has been our best return man.
