Is there an online stream?

For some reason the stream is unavailable (on 99.9 the Fan in the Triangle).

Clausen having the stronger arm just doesn't make since unless he's worked on his mechanics, his passes wobble in the air.

Rivera on AE:

This spring he had a really good spring, and now we'll see what he looks like with pads.

Panthers are quietly confident.  The expectations were out of whack last year.  This year we have an opportunity to really make some noise.

The offense may not change that much under Shula. Experience will make the difference.

Cam really began to mature last season. This has carried off the field also. Cam fully grasps the responsibility of the QB position, and the crucible that he's in.

Rivera is excited about the secondary. Again, he expects experience and maturity as players to have a profound impact.

The theme of a natural progression of growth and maturity of players, alongside the solid teaching that they are receiving from the coaches will give the Panthers a solid chance at making the playoffs this year, is basically what I got from Chico.

Sorry I didn't hear the whole thing. I am at work, and just when the interview came on, someone needed my help.

A caller called in and asked who is the leader of the team. Cam, Steve Smith, or somebody else?

Mixon says he believes Coach Rivera is the leader of the Panthers.  At some event 6 weeks ago in Asheville, Mixon said (paraphrasing) that Gross basically said that the reason that he is still with the Panthers as well as some of the other players is because their belief in Ron Rivera. Gross said that the reason that the team finished strong last year is because oftheir belief in Rivera. Gross said the Rivera's leadership and teaching skills cannot be overstated.  Mixon said that Gross was talking to the sponsors of the event and his lauding of Rivera was basically unprompted, and not something that you really see players do everyday.

Mixon said Rivera is and remains the leader of the team.

I really have a hard time believing that one myself, but Mixon told the crew "Don't laugh, but..."

He's just saying what the ball guy said though. I wonder if they drug test these guys.

L. O. L. at the Clausen comment.  Good to hear that the players are really confident in Rivera, though.  That says a lot.  Now, if he can just work on his in-game coaching.

The guy said Clausen (No joke). He said Clausen's balls travel "crisply" through the air.

Well, Clausen's are known for their crispness.  Makes sense to me.
