Says he wants to go to Bulls or Mavs though.  But wow, I'd love to bring this guy in.  He's one of the best players in the league and it would be very exciting to have him as a Hornet.  They want a couple firsts though and a player, so that may be too steep especially for people here banking on Wiggins or such next year.

I like Aldridge, but not for that price lol.

He'll probably be the Mavs backup plan if they don't get Dwight.

If I was a Mavs fan, I'd rather have Aldridge than Howard.  I think it would be a nightmare trying to guard him and Dirk on the court at the same time.

Does the Portland pick have any protection next year?

I'm pretty sure the Portland and Detroit picks are both protected.  I don't even think we can trade our pick since it's also protected to Chicago, not 100% on this though.

Theoretically we could have ZERO first round picks next year if we draft later than 10th, but I doubt that'll happen lol.

It is said that he wants out bc Portland is too 'small'. Is Charlotte any bigger?

Actually from what I read he wants out because the Blazers haven't made any commitments to getting better.  Still doesn't exactly help out Charlotte's cause lol.  I know he wouldn't come here, but I would love it.

I'd like him here, but the asking price would be too much. We're talking no.4 + MKG + future draft pick.

No case to get better?  Wasn't Lillard one hell of a rookie last year?

I see how he would be a long-shot to end up here (even with the Cho/Portland connection), but I can't help but imagine how good a tandem Lamarcus and Kemba would be.  That would be fun to watch!

Seems like the Blazers have been "rebuilding" forever. I don't blame him for wanting out, he doesn't have much visibility in Portland. Why do I have to watch Blake Griffin every other commercial when LA is 10x the player.

Anyway sometimes when you've been in one place for a long time, and things aren't terrible but they aren't great either, you just want something different. Sounds like he's ready for a change.

Yeah it's not crazy to want to just move on somewhere else.  New coast, new city, etc.  I'm not saying Charlotte is any better but I've heard bad things about Portland.

610 the drive is going crazy right now wanting LA if he would want to come here.  I have to agree, but I doubt it happens.
