i'll start with my personal favorite, courtesy of the red, white and blue (the angry american)

American girls and American guys, will always stand up and salute.
We'll always recognize, when we see ol' glory flying,
There's a lot of men dead,
So we can sleep in peace at night when we lay down our heads.
My daddy served in the army where he lost his right eye,
But he flew a flag out in our yard 'til the day that he died.
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me.
To grow up and live happy in the land of the free.

2 million + americans have been wounded or killed during wars and tens of thousands are still missing to this day. toby keith and his father are just two of millions of ppl who have suffered loss, but also a renewed sense of pride, thanks to the dozens of wars that the US has been a part of. while they took his daddy's right eye, they can never take his freedom (unless we fail to constitutionally ban sharia law forefver but that's a discussion for another topic)

also even if you don't know anyone who has served our country you have tstill been touched by a soldier because if it wasnt for them you'd be speakingsome unholy mixture of chinese and russian and german right now

Now this nation that I love is fallin' under attack.
A mighty sucker-punch came flying in from somewhere in the back.
Soon as we could see clearly through our big black eye,
Man, we lit up your world like the fourth of July.

freedom is constantly under attack by cowardly, radical jihadists. on september 11th, 2001, america, the inventor of freedom, was bruised (but not beaten). then, in a scene reminiscent of what francis scott key witnessed at fort mchenry, we "lit up (their) world like the fourth of july." except on this 4th of july there were no bottle rockets; no roman candles; no firecrackers; no trips to the beach; no hotdogs (muslims don't eat pork); only the full force of the greatest military the world has ever seen

Hey, Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list,
And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist.
And the eagle will fly and it's gonna be hell,
When you hear Mother Freedom start ringing her bell.
And it'll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you.
Ah, brought to you, courtesy of the red, white and blue.

mr keith calls upon several of the most prominent symbols of american freedom; uncle sam, the statue of liberty, the eagle, the liberty bell. the imagery is undeniable and this is probably my favorite verse of this song, if not all songs

Instrumental break.

*toby shreds*

Oh, justice will be served and the battle will rage:
This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage.
An' you'll be sorry that you messed with the U.S. of A.
'Cos we'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way..

never mind, i lied, this is my favorite verse

boots to asses - the american way. in fact, if you take out a dollar and look carefully within the eye of providence you will see, in the tiniest of writing, the words "boots to asses," signed by none other than mr george washington himslef

Ah, brought to you, courtesy of the red, white and blue.

hey terrorits , uncle sam is still pissed and our statue of libertas herself (the only good thing to ever come from france, i might add) is still shaking its first

oh and by the way obama bin laden, the eagle will fly except it's not an eagle but in fact the american airplane force (the eagle is a metaphor)

patriotic_usa_flag_with_fighter_jet_deca

also you're dead bin laden and oh yeah saddam you're dead too

Oh, oh.
Of the red, white and blue.
Oh, hey, oh.
Of my Red, White and Blue.

it's not just the red white and blue; it's his red white and blue

our red white and blue (the flag)

anyway let's post about more political music

"Zombie"

Another head hangs lowly,
Child is slowly taken.
And the violence caused such silence,
Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, dou, dou, dou, dou, dou...

Another mother's breakin',
Heart is taking over.
When the vi'lence causes silence,
We must be mistaken.

It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen.
In your head, in your head they're still fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are dying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, hey, oh, ya, ya-a...

http://en.wikipedia....i/Easter_Rising

The Easter Rising (Irish: Éirí Amach na Cásca),[1] also known as the Easter Rebellion and referred to erroneously in some contemporary British reports as the Sinn Féin Rebellion, was an armed insurrection staged in Ireland during Easter Week, 1916. The Rising was mounted by Irish republicans with the aims of ending British rule in Ireland and establishing an independent Irish Republic at a time when the United Kingdom was heavily engaged in World War I. It was the most significant uprising in Ireland since the rebellion of 1798.[2]

Zo-ahm-bie, Zo-ahm-bie, zo-ahh-ahh, zo-ahh-ahh...

Love that song.

Kurb should like that one too.

U2 is political too...

I can't believe the news today
Oh, I can't close my eyes and make it go away
How long, how long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight we can be as one, tonight

Broken bottles under children's feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end streets
But I won't heed the battle call
It puts my back up, puts my back up against the wall

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

And the battle's just begun
There's many lost but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

How long, how long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight we can be as one
Tonight, tonight

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

Wipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your blood shot eyes

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

And it's true we are immune when fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die
The real battle just begun to claim the victory Jesus won on

Sunday Bloody Sunday
Sunday Bloody Sunday

Terrorstorm!
There were lots of warnings, but somehow they couldn't see it
The facts don't add up and I'll never believe in the spout of lies and deception
Now we hand in our freedom for what they are calling protection
A terrorized population and then look what happens to our administration
Who benefits? Who benefits? Who really benefits from the world ablaze?
Welcome to the new American century where Pearl Harbor is right around the corner
Even when airplanes are falling from the sky they are counting on the fact that we will never ask why
Ask why it has come to this. So many lost
Where was the most advanced line of defense in the world before the nation crashed down to the ground?
The war on terror is a hoax and we are all being lied to
Act courageously. Fight the real enemy
The greatest threat to our freedom is not terrorism, but what our government does to counter it and cover it up
The inhumanity is repulsive
Go beyond the sound bytes and oversimplified official report and open your eyes to a profit driven massacre.
Terrorstorm. It has happened all through out history
Cover-ups and false flags used to deceive and mangle our hearts and minds into supporting war
The time has come to stop using the flag as a blindfold, to stop waving our guns and our gods at the world
We must seek truth and justice
Take a close look and see that we the people are the victims of a violent terrorstorm
Fight the real enemy

Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming,
We're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio.

Gotta get down to it
Soldiers are gunning us down
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know?

La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la.

Gotta get down to it
Soldiers are gunning us down
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know?

Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming,
We're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio.

Four dead in Ohio

Four dead in Ohio.

a song about Westboro Baptist Church back in 2002

Compassion no more, the angel sleeps in her blood.
Guilt will ruin... you rest no more.
I will always watch... until the last church is burned,
until the guilty drown in blood, until your preachers
of filth cease to be. Everyday I hope...I hope that your
end will bring a better day.
fug your god, your god of poo. Our sin will send the
death we wish upon you. For the families you've
broken, for the lies you have ruined, we burn the last
of you down.
"Now you will receive us. We do not ask for your poor,
or for your hungry. We don't want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim. It is your evil that will
be sought by us. With every breath we shall hunt them
down everyday. We will spill their blood till it
bleeds down from the sky." Now you will receive us,
receive the arsonist.

Me and my wife went all over town
And everywhere we went people turned us down
Lord, in a bourgeois town
It's a bourgeois town
I got the bourgeois blues
Gonna spread the news all around

Well, me and my wife we were standing upstairs
We heard the white man say'n I don't want no niggers up there
Lord, in a bourgeois town
Uhm, bourgeois town
I got the bourgeois blues
Gonna spread the news all around

Home of the brave, land of the free
I don't wanna be mistreated by no bourgeoisie
Lord, in a bourgeois town
Uhm, the bourgeois town
I got the bourgeois blues
Gonna spread the news all around

Well, them white folks in Washington they know how
To call a colored man a ****** just to see him bow
Lord, it's a bourgeois town
Uhm, the bourgeois town
I got the bourgeois blues
Gonna spread the news all around

I tell all the colored folks to listen to me
Don't try to find you no home in Washington, DC
'Cause it's a bourgeois town
Uhm, the bourgeois town
I got the bourgeois blues
Gonna spread the news all around

The globe is a war-field.
Desecrated contagion scattered throughout this harrowed land grinds beneath my feet like fallen leaves beneath a deceased tree.
A bestial river flowing with the blood of the fallen carries severed limbs and intestines in a twisting current of plasma.
To self-proclaimed leaders our lives are meaningless.
These malicious men have cast us into involuntary monetary slavery.
They are voracious leaches feeding on the free will of humanity.
Donate your life to government genocide!
FEMA coffins lined with human ash line the corpse paved roads to superlative domination.
A black plague breeds beneath the ground, but the answers to life do not lie below.
They lie within your flesh, and swim through your blood.
These imbecilic drones are killing for payment in fel possessions until the murder of innocents becomes an omnipotent obsession.
The globe is a war-field.
Desecrated contagion scattered throughout this harrowed land grinds beneath my feet.
To self-proclaimed leaders our lives are meaningless.
These malicious men have cast us into involuntary monetary slavery.
Our sanity is a shotgun painting the walls in our enemies brains.
Spill Bilderberg Blood!

Snow cuts loose from the frozen
Until it joins with the African sea
In moving it changes it's cold and it's name
The reason I come and go is the same
Animal game for me
You call it rain
But the human name
Doesn't mean poo to a tree
If you don't mind heat in your river and
Fork tongue talking from me
Swim like an eel fantastic snake
Take my love when it's free
Electric feel with me
You call it loud
But the human crowd
Doesn't mean poo to a tree
Change the strings and notes slide
Change the bridge and string shift down
Shift the notes and bride sings
Fire eating people
Rising toys of the sun
Energy dies without body warm
Icicles ruin your gun
Water my roots the natural thing
Natural spring to the sea
Sulphur springs make my body float
Like a ship made of logs from a tree
Redwoods talk to me
Say it plainly
The human name
Doesn't mean poo to a tree
Snow called water going violent
Damn the end of the stream
Too much cold in one place breaks
That's why you might know what I mean
Consider how small you are
Compared to your scream
The human dream
Doesn't mean poo to a tree

[Verse 1]
Yeah.... Harlem streets stay flooded in white powder
Like those mother fugers runnin' away from the twin towers
Gun shots rock the earth like a meteor shower
Bowling For Columbine, fair, giving the media power
Innocence devoured like a chicken spot snack box
Government cocain cooked into ghetto crack rock
Corrupt cops false testimony at your arraignment
Check to check, constant struggle to make the payments
Working your whole life wondering where the day went
The subway stays pakced like a multi-cultural slave ship
It's rush hour, 2:30 to 8, non stoppin'
And people coming home after corporate share croppin
And fug flossin, mothers are trying to feed children
But gentrification is kicking them out of their building
A generation of babies born without health care
Families homeless, thrown the fug off of the welfare

[Hook]
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?

[Verse 2]
It's like Cambodia the killing fields uptown
We live in distress and hang the flag upside down
The sound of conservative politicians on television
People in the hood are blind so they tell us to listen
They vote for us to go to war instantly
But none of their kids serving the infantry
The odds are stacked against us like a casino
Think about it, most of the army is black and latino
And if you can't acknowledge the reality of my words
You just another stupid mother fuger out on the curb
Trying to escape from the ghetto with your ignorant ways
But you can't read history at an illiterate stage
And you can't raise a family on minimum wage
Why the fug you think most of us are locked in a cage
I give niggaz the truth, cause they pride is indigent
You better off rich and guilty than poor and innocent
But I'm sick of feeling impotent watching the world burn
In the era of apocalypse waiting my turn
I'm a Harlem nigga that's concerned with the future
And if your in my way it'd be an honor to shoot ya
Up root ya with the evil that grows in my people
Making them deceitful, cannibalistic and lethal
But I see through the mentality implanted in us
And I educate my fam about who we should trust

[Hook]
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
Homicide Harlem, BLAOW!, what's the problem?
