Those tweets were kinda alarming.  Not for us but he needs some help.

Hopefully by tonight we will know at least whether he received an offer and perhaps the neighborhood of money that was offered.

I dont know if we end up signing him, but it feels darn good to know that he is atleast interested.  Im tired of being the poo of the league.

Really? There were reports that he was supposed to be here already yesterday. He's probably leaving?

Those reports must have been inaccurate because someone else tweeted that they met him in Charlotte this afternoon.

Rotoworld said that as many as 7 or more teams will be tanking this year.  You like those odds, since we're so lucky in the lottery?  I don't.

It doesn't matter without Big Al the most wins we can expect is 25-27. That is plenty bad enough to be a Top 5 pick. If Boston keeps Rondo no way they are anywhere near bottom 5.

I see worse records as:

Sixers

Suns

us

Hawks

A lot also depends on if Toronto keeps Gay as they will be a borderline 8 seed with him but if they take the crap offer from Detroit they will be tanking.

One of the most common expressions in sports:

"The next draft is going to be loaded..."

Just went to NBA Draft.net

In their top 11, 8 were either high schoolers or international players.  That is only 3 players we really know about and the only center on that list only averaged 8 ppg.

Truth is no one really knows how good next year's draft is going to be.  Harrison Barnes had the same hype on him as Wiggins when he came out of high school.  Remember he was a preseason first team all-american before his freshman year.

Before you know it people will be wanting to tank again in 2014-15 because...

"the next draft is going to be loaded.  Can't miss out"

I know we would rather have Wiggins, Randle, Gordon, or Parker than Jefferson.

What dont u understand. There's no guarantee to get those players. But we can actually sign Jefferson. We won't have to hope and wish and prey. We can just sign him. Unlike tanking and having the the third worst record but getting the sixth pick and a good player. Drives me crazy
