Yeah but I watch JJ Reddick and although he is a high effort guy he is oddly not as consistant of a shooter as he should be.

It is like he tires quickly...although his conditioning is much improved.

I just expect more for 8 million..like a lot more.

Clippers are overpaying for him. That doesn't mean we should for Hendo. 8 mil is really Hendo's market. 10 mil and I'm gonna raise an eyebrow.

If Hendo simply is healthy and duplicates the second half of last season over a full one..then he would be worth the bigger end of that and I would have no problem..of course I want to see better shooting from him.

I have never thought of Hendo as a true shooting guard...  OJ Mayo just seems like a more natural fit a that position.  If we're investing a salary approaching 10mil I would rather have OJ's offensive repertoire.

If we are only talking about OJ and Hendo, yes.

** From Marc Stein of ESPN.com:

The Sacramento Kings have made Denver Nuggets swingman Andre Iguodala their free-agent priority, according to sources familiar with Sacramento’s thinking.Sources told ESPN.com the Kings, meanwhile, are leaning strongly against matching the offer sheet restricted free agent Tyreke Evans is planning to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans on July 10.

** From Sean Deveney of Sporting News:

Free-agent forward Earl Clark met with the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Tuesday, and though no contract offers were made, the two sides are expected to meet again Wednesday, a source told Sporting News. The source labeled the interest between Clark and the Cavaliers “very mutual.”

• Report: Rockets trying to land D12 and Josh Smith

Sam Amick of USA Today:

According to two people with knowledge of the situation, the Rockets’ Monday meeting with free agent forward Josh Smith in Los Angeles included a discussion about a possible partnership with him and his childhood friend from Atlanta in Howard.Smith has long been known to be on the Rockets’ radar, but he is not viewed solely as a backup plan to Howard should he decide to sign elsewhere and the possibility remains of another superteam being created with Howard and Smith joining franchise centerpiece James Harden.

• Report: Tony Allen agrees to four year deal to return to Grizzlies

What was first reported by the Memphis Commercial Appeal has since been confirmed by multiple outlets — Allen has agreed to a four-year deal worth $20 million to remain a part of the Grizzlies.

Wow @ Houston! Potential big three of Smoove, D12, and Harden? That would be incredible.

How are they getting Smith? Sign and trade but what would they give Atlanta?

I'd assume they'd need to dump Asik and probably Lin, somehow.

The Kings have pulled their offer (4yr/56mil) for free agent Andre Iguodala & will no longer pursue him, I'm told. Story to come.

• Report: Grizzlies reach three-year/3mil deal to keep John Leuer

• The Bucks, who have gutted their team and have plenty of cap space, are shaping up as the leading suitor for J.R. Smith.
But if Smith leaves the Knicks to get more bucks in Milwaukee, he will find himself in a rebuilding program. That’s the decision the Freehold, N.J., native, has to make.

Take less to stay with the hometown Knicks, who can offer a four-year, roughly $25 million contract — which comes to $6.25 million a season after yearly raises — or follow the “green’’ jerseys of Milwaukee or another under-the-cap club willing to make a four-year commitment. The market value is being set for him to get an offer of at least $7 million per year.

• It was only a short time ago when Kyle Korver signing with Brooklyn in free agency was believed to be “in the bag.” That bag has quickly become empty, as the Nets are now reportedly out of the running for Korver’s services.

• Report: Knicks offer Pablo Prigioni two-year deal

As long as Mayo signs with the Bucks, Al keeps his options open, and Pistons blow the farm on Gay I can say this is a successful offseason.

Let's go subpar again and luckily get a top 3-4 pick. I can rock with that.

** Michael Pointer of the Indianapolis Star:

Donald Sloan, who split time last season between New Orleans and Cleveland, has reached agreement on a multi-year contract with the Indiana Pacers, a source close to the negotiations told The Star.

** The Bucks are near a multiyear deal with free agent O.J. Mayo, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

** Marc Stein         @ESPNSteinLine

First surprise of week on Dwight front: Sources say Golden State made real impression on Howard in their meeting and have become a factor

Marc Stein         @ESPNSteinLine

Rockets/Mavs clearly still have better shot to steal Dwight from Lakers than Warriors. But Dubs, I'm told, have forced way into conversation
