Last thing I'll say is JR is 27 about to be 28 he avg. 18.1 pts a game 2.7 assist and 5.3 rebounds with 1.3 steals. Shooting 422% overall and 356% from 3pt range

Hendo is 2 years younger will be cheaper and avg. 15.5 pts a game 2.6 assist 3.7 rebounds 1.0 steals. Shooting 447% overall and 330% from 3pt range.

Do you think that Hendo is that much of a drop off and with more time to grow could he reach JR level while being cheaper?

Guys just are desperate for names here..understandable but just bc you have money now does not mean they should blow it all now like a Powerball lotto winner.

Ill take Henderson or Smith.  With Smith, we would score a ton of points.

Either way though, if we get Smith/Henderson and sign Al Jefferson..we are sitting pretty come 2014.  Just need to find some depth and a go to wing.

Hendo was putting up JR numbers post-all star game this year, so I hope he can continue to trend, plus stay healthy.

With JR, you have a guy that will hit big shots.  Streaky, but we would have a go to guy at the end of games.  Bad part is, he will have games where he is cold and we all are yelling at him to pass the ball.

With Hendo, you get consistency.  Defense, mid range, athletic and getting better.

Personally, Id go with JR, just bc of scoring "ability" and I know ppl will throw his stats up against Hendersons, but JR Smith would get more shots here than in previous seasons(assuming he would start) and his numbers would go up.

would love for JR to come in. just like some young guys, he had to mature as a man and would not be a distraction in the locker room. something that is not being mentioned is the killer instinct that JR has or that will to take the last shot. last year he hit several game winning shots including one in TWC.

I don't see there being tension at all. Smith is a great shooter (something the Bobcats have only had twice: Stephen Jackson/Jason Richardson) and a player that could actually help Kemba. It would be one thing if Kemba and Smith played a similar game, but they are two different players. I actually recall you wanting Kemba to be a a pass first point guard like Chris Paul... well with players like J.R. Smith and Al Jefferson, he finally gets the chance to be that point guard.

Also if you are worried about people taking shots away from Kemba, you should start with your guy Big AL who attempts more shots per game than J.R. Smith.

Sure, but I don't see Kemba benefitting anything in his passing game from JR. The ball is gonna be in his hands extremely much. It's different with Al. Kemba will benefit by having a guy in the paint/post to pass the ball to. Kemba could improve his assist by 2 with Al. Add in Zeller too.

I think Al will be great for Kemba, it finally give him a player that he can feed the ball to in the post.

I don't think JR signs here unless the money is significantly more than other offers. Do not want.

Smith and the Knicks are working on finalizing a deal to keep J.R. in New York.

So there's that. Can't say I'm disappointed.

I think Jefferson and smith makes us a possible 4th seed.

Miami, Chicago, Indiana, and Brooklyn will be the top 4 seeds. Jefferson and Smith aren't good enough to pull the worst team in the league into contention with those teams.
