Right now has a 72 on Rotten Tomatoes. Legit for a summer action movie.

I don't think I quoted you or adressed you by name, and yet you assumed I was talking about you. Vain much? Or "butthurt"?

we've been discussing it throughout this entire thread.

you really aren't too good at this whole reading and comprehending thing are you?

One of the most fun movies I've seen in a long time.

A couple small plot problems, but it was insanely fun to watch and I'll likely go see it again before it's out of theaters. :)

Really fun movie.

Much better than all 3 transformers movies combined.

This movie crushes Transformer movies and if Grown Ups 2 does better, that's just evidence of what's wrong with society lol.

I thought it was an awesome summer sci-fi movie.  Was the acting amazing?  No.  Although Idris is very solid.  Luckily the pacing was pretty good and the acting was decent enough.  But the movie overall was awesome.  Not awesome like an Oscar but awesome for what their goal was in a movie.

Grown ups 2 beating Pacific Rim makes me worry for our future.

Saw it in IMAX with my 9 year old son.  I think I enjoyed it more than him.

Check your brain at the door, strap in, enjoy the ride.

i think that may be because of the monsters I remember when I was like 7 when Jurassic park came out and that gave me nightmares for a month, now I love it but not when I was 7.

He tensed up a couple of times, but was loving it just about every other moment.  I am thinking I will see this with the lady-friend once more in the theater... and I never do that

Good movie, makes me wonder why no one has made a live action Gundam Wing movie.

Exactly..I was in Japan when I saw the original Gundam Movie out then..along with Superman2 subtitled in Japanese. It was a Star Wars like experience with the story and galatic wars using mechs.

I was excited when I saw the Mech in District 9 bc it reminded me of Gundam . Pacific Rim For now will just have to be the alternate for me.

Hopefully this is so successful that hollywood has to seek more mech movies and invest in a Gundam franchise...crap they are murduring a live action Akira as we speak.
