Why would media talk about a defense that has yet to show they can be consistently good for a whole year much less multiple years.

LOL, now that you said that I could totally see Hardy doing some poo like this... just replace Harlem Heat with Monster's Inc., WCW with NFL, Sister Sherry with Luke Kuechly, Lex Luger with Matt Ryan, and Hulk Hogan with Roger Goodell.

Media is always going to cover the skill positions more than the trenches (bigger ratings).

The folks who actually know the game pay attention to the foundations.

Fantasy football has changed the way the networks cover the league.

 

However, get half of those 50 sacks and 76 will be the poster boy for the Panthers.
