He hit on a huge point - the Panthers haven't really done much to help Cam on the offensive side. Couple offensive linemen and some late round WRs who are battling to even stay on the roster. Relying on 34 year old Steve Smith to shoulder the same load 26 year old Steve Smith did is unrealistic, but that's what they are asking.

I agree get the man some offensive line help at least. I like our draft picks but not at the expense of frustrating our franchise player. We got Luke some help can we get Cam some help too. Hopefully we plan to get a solid guard when teams cut down to the final 53.

In my experience with Packer fans. They are some of the more intelligent fans than most fans of other NFL teams. I even have friends that are Packer fans....And its damn near impossible to talk any trash to them. 2011 for example Panthers score they are like "wow, what a great play"  Great article too.

all of the packers fans i've ever known have an encyclopedic knowledge of their team and usually have some kind of tie to wisconsin.  it seems like most of them have actually seen their team in person at least once too.

basically they're the opposite of cowboys fans.

also holy poo

By the way, he is their future. He's their present. He's their everything. Since Newton, only three of the Panthers nineteen picks have been spent on offensive skill players. None of them were picked inside the top 100:

2012 4th round 104th overall Joe Adams Arkansas
2011 5th round 132nd overall Kealoha Pilares WR Hawaii
2013 6th round 182nd overall Kenjon Barner RB Oregon

I do hope we address the offense next year in the draft.

how can anyone explain he also does work for DraftFalcons.com and not slight Cam?  I was thinking the other day how the last two drafts have been defense-heavy

Not trying to be funny, but you're perhaps giving Packer fan more credit than he deserves. This is really more of the same...

Don't get me wrong, Packer fans seem smarter than many, but Cam Newton has been discussed ad nauseum in many circles (if nothing else, for fantasy football purposes alone).

Not true about Buc fans. I still have deep resentment for Tampa, from the Warren Sapp days. Also it's hard to be a well educated "nice" fan when all your home games are blacked out, and obviously none of them show up to the games.

Really I can't stand any of the other NFC south fans. Tampa fans only seem less annoying because there are less of them. If they start winning again the bandwagon snowbirds will jump on that train, and it will be just like the old days.

Gat Dayum I love me some Packers fans!

Kid is dead on, you could replace most of the pinheads that cover the NFL for ESPN with this one guy and the Football IQ would increase by 1000 points.
