Wesley Johnson, Nick Young are options. What about Lance Stephenson of the Pacers?

Someone on twitter suggested a S&T with OKC for Jeremy Lamb. While I love the idea, I think the Thunder are keen on him and wouldn't want to move him.

I think I have the perfect stop gap regardless of what we get back for Hendo...

Alan Anderson.

Was drafted by us and we gave up on him later... Came back with the Raptors last season and actually played comparably to Hendo IMO (without looking at the stats). He can play the 2 or 3, and he had some awesome games last year. Shouldn't be too expensive either.

I was looking at Alan as well as a stop gap.

But if we can't get a younger type guy I rather let Taylor get the spot and sign or trade for a SF back-up.

sign me up for this, but i agree with you.OKC seems to love Lamb, and he has been playing good ball lately. Durant has given him SO on twitter as well.

Well that's why I would like Anderson b/c he gives us flexibility at the 2 or 3 as far as what we want to do with Taylor.

I used to be high on Nick Young but, he's been given ideal situations to flourish in over the last two seasons and he hasn't grown or improved at all, at least not like I thought he would.

Yeah, he would be my ideal return on a Hendo deal but, I just don't see them letting him go.

Lol hendo ain't poo bro.

Not trying to be an ass, but you clearly gave up on the team last year. Henderson showed what he was capable of the last few months of the season.

Any Bobcats fans that watched the last three months of the Bobcats season will tell you that Henderson was without a doubt the best player.

I went to the game against the Celtics where Henderson had 35 points (career high) on 58% shooting and the Cats won by 26. The last three months Henderson averaged 17.8 points per game (February: 15.9, March: 20.1, April: 17.3)

Henderson was 11th in shooting guard scoring and every player above him except for Aaron Afflalo and Eric Gordon averaged four minutes or more of court time per game.

Henderson was 7th in field goal percentage for shooting guards.

Henderson was 6th in both field goals (two point) made and attempted for shooting guards)

Henderson was 5th in free throws made and attempted

Henderson was 6th in free throws attempted and made per game.

Henderson was 10th in field goals made per game for shooting guards.

He is a lot better than people (and especially Bobcat fans give him credit for).

Bobcats consider sign-and-trade offers for Gerald Henderson after contract negotiations stall

By Adrian Wojnarowski | Yahoo! Sports – 11 minutes ago
After reaching an impasse in negotiations with restricted free-agent guard Gerald Henderson, the Charlotte Bobcats are discussing sign-and-trade possibilities with multiple teams, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Bobcats and Henderson have remained far apart in extension talks and discussions moved away from a contract and toward a sign-and-trade scenario on Wednesday, league sources said.
Henderson, 25, is one of the NBA's emerging young shooting guards, but Charlotte has been reluctant to offer him a market value that could push into the $7.5 million to $8.5 million range, front-office sources said.
Charlotte started pursuing free agent Monta Ellis earlier in the week, fearing it would struggle to come to terms with Henderson, sources said. Bobcats president Rod Higgins drafted Ellis with the Golden State Warriors and has remained fond of him.
Henderson averaged 15.5 points on nearly 45 percent shooting a season ago. He was the Bobcats' first-round pick – 12th overall – in the 2009 NBA draft.

Henderson looking for an extension in the $7.5-$8.5 neighborhood.

Rod Higgins is the guy in the FO that is high on Ellis... He was the one that drafted him when he was at GSW.

I pray they do not let Rod Higgins be the lead here. If that dumbass thinks Monta is a replacement for Hendo he needs to be fired....

Should've known it was Higgins. I just don't understand why if they planned on low balling Hendo, why did they not make a bigger push for Mayo or JR?
