He gets paid very handsomely to hold a clipboard and he has a super hot girlfriend...don't feel bad for him.

This.

He got a free education from Notre Dame and has been paid very well to accomplish jack poo in the NFL.  We should all be so lucky.

From all second hand accounts I have heard of things about town he is a total dick head. Maybe he has grown up in the past few years though.

I don't know if he is an ass or not but since Cam arrived I haven't heard anything negative about pickles from any players so I give him props for that. A lot of people would have made themselves into a huge headache and caused issues getting replaced like he did after one season when the organization was crap around him but Jimmy hasn't done that(or i haven't heard about it).

That'll happen when you realize you're not as good as you were hyped to be, amass subpar numbers/stats, receive copious amounts of criticism, find the franchise that drafted you giving up after just one season by drafting the most electric and athletically gifted QB in the history of sport the following year (falling all the way to third-string), and become an endless joke and pun to millions of fans across this great land.

It'll cure the douche in you insanely fast.

Jimmy never has been liked in Charlotte, a lot of people hated the pick, disastrous rookie season, inactive all 16 games for the past two seasons...etc. He isn't used to that. People in South Bend bowed down to him. He literally was sitting on top of the world. Now he's one of the worst QB's on an NFL roster.

He was literally sitting on top the world? Or by literally you mean figuratively?

he had one shot. it was his rookie year with awful coaches and no talent. his supporting cast gave zero craps. we gutted our team.

frustrating.

Nah, Fox's style was essentially to help weak QBs have success.

Clausen played in the NFL just like he did at Notre Dame. That wasnt Fox. Clausen made his OL look like poo and player scared at ND.....and never impressed. Only difference was his scared style didn't totally implode Notte Dame when they played West Coastal Texas Univserty Tech.

He doesn't appear to be the douche he was portrayed as however. I think the fact he is a good guy has kept him on this roster

If Gil Brandt says this, then that speaks volumes.  He is forever liberal with the praise and short on unfettered criticism.

    • I do think Kpassagnon is an interesting prospect that needs to be in the right situation to thrive. It just so happens that we have one of the best 6'7" defensive ends in the history of the NFL on a reunion tour with us in 2017 and maybe if need be, 2018 if he holds up.   Kpassagnon's attitude and work ethic is strong and tireless. His 3-cone and vert scare me for a defensive end, and that's not something you can teach. Being able to bend and explode off the snap to beat OL is not something that Peppers can show him, but maybe Peppers can show how to use athleticism to his advantage.  I can see him being just another Michael Johnson/Erik Armstead player or I could also see the environment here in Carolina benefiting him and he becomes a Carlos Dunlap kind of lanky DE that causes headaches along our DL. Kpassagnon's spider web looks amazing and awful all at the same time. I'd take him in this draft, but "where" is the big question.
