man that tough...its has too be unbearable to outlive your kids. im going to keep the Richardsons in my prayers

This is gonna be dumb question but. . . did that have anything to do with him leaving the team or is this way past all that?

 

 

It was part of the reason he left the team.  It had nothing to do with Mr Richardson's succession planning.

Now the endowed scholarship in  Jon's name by Jerry at UNC Charlotte makes sense.

 

At the time I thought it was strange that he would endow a scholarship in his son's name if he was still alive.
