To prove a point, this is how easy it is to fake one of these:

Oh, and now I KNOW for a fact it's a doctored pic. Notice the headline above the direct messages, that says "Direct messages to > CameronNewton"

Yeah, Twitter puts a space between the name, because it doesn't use the Twitter handle, it uses the "real name" which on Cam's account is "Cameron Newton" with a space. It's fake.

You should totally make another one of those that portray cam as some sleez who has a bad work ethic and tip it in to as many gossip/sports sites you can and see if any of them run with it just to f*ck with them.

Mean while, ESPN, The NFL Network, and The Washington Post--in 'Goode Ole The USA', and Griffiths hometown team in DC, says nothing.

Why would they? If the media outlets you mentioned were in the business of reporting on unconfirmed or even confirmed gossip of star athletes texting other women while being in a "committed" relationship there wouldn't be enough time in a day to get it all in.

Only people who don't realize that are the insecure "But if Cam did it......" whiners.

But don't worry, if there is more to the story and it picks up steam, they will be forced to pick the story up also and you will all be vindicated.

So why did the Daily Mail, in England report it it?

And why would the NFL Network, even bother to critique Cam, and his Falcons comments (a WAY LESSER News worthy than Griffin), that doesn't even deserve mention?? Come on. At least be consistent; more cognizant. Are you that naive?

Plus, I was just being flippant, and you wanted to make an apparently principled comparison (as if you really could), to a 'throw a way' statement.
