Remember when Jonathan Jones got hired and people thought he was going to be an upgrade over Joe Person? How mistaken we were. Both Person and Jones are absolutely awful at covering the team. You can tell that they don't really give a poo and their complete lack of apathy really shows in their articles and tweets.

I've actually seen JJ make fun of the Panthers while he was sitting in their press box watching a game. It's infuriating. I miss Steve Reed and Darin Gant.

JJ is a grade-A douchebag irl.

I will be disappointed if we don't reach 1 million votes.

A little knowledge from wikipedia about our competitors.

San Francisco /ˌsæn frənˈsɪsk/, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the leading financial and cultural center of Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The only consolidated city-county in California,[11] San Francisco encompasses a land area of about 46.9 square miles (121 km2)[12] on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula, giving it a density of about 17,620 people per square mile (6,803 people per km2). It is the most densely settled large city (population greater than 200,000) in the state of California and the second-most densely populated major city in the United States after New York City.[13] San Francisco is the fourth most populous city in California, after Los AngelesSan Diego andSan Jose, and the 14th most populous city in the United States—with a Census-estimated 2012 population of 825,863.[8] The city is also the financial and cultural hub of the larger San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland metropolitan area, with a population of 8.4 million.

and now Charlotte

Charlotte /ˈʃɑrlət/ is the largest city in the U.S. state of North Carolina and the seat of Mecklenburg County. In 2012, the estimated population of Charlotte according to theU.S. Census Bureau was 775,202,[5] making it the 17th largest city in the United States based on population. The Charlotte metropolitan area ranks 23rd largest in the US and had a 2012 population of 2,296,569.[6] The Charlotte metropolitan area is part of a sixteen-county market region or combined statistical area with a 2011 U.S. Census population estimate of 2,442,564.[7] Residents of Charlotte are referred to as "Charlotteans". Charlotte is considered a "Gamma+ world city".

The city is a major U.S. financial center, the second largest financial center by assets following New York City.[8] Bank of America and the East Coast operations of Wells Fargo are headquartered in the city. Charlotte is also home of the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, the Charlotte Bobcats of the National Basketball Association, the NASCAR Hall of FameCarowinds amusement park, and theU.S. National Whitewater Center.

Nicknamed the Queen City, Charlotte and its resident county are named in honor ofCharlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, who had become queen consort of Great Britain the year before the city's founding. A second nickname derives from the American Revolutionary War, when British commander General Cornwallis occupied the city but was driven out by hostile residents, prompting him to write that Charlotte was "a hornet's nest of rebellion", leading to the nickname The Hornet's Nest.

Not being from Charlotte, I didn't realize Charlotte was almost the same size as San Francisco. Which makes me wonder not how we have so many votes, but how San Francisco has so few!

So while I didnt think what this post contained could be construed in any way as "cheating" or unfair clearly there are some who think otherwise. It was still one click = one vote.

And contrary to popular belief of those that transplant here, the crescent above the Palmetto tree on the SC state flag is not the moon but rather a gorget dating back to the uniform worn by the 2nd SC Regiment. At least that is my stance on the matter. Some argue that the way the crescent is facing on the current flag is meant to symbolize a moon.

Either way, suck it Dameshek.

The question will be when we win this thing.

Will we see this uniform more often?

I think we are heard loud and clear.

They hear us but are they listening?

Like some have said. I think this is the first series of threads everyone is in general agreement and no one is at each others throat. It's a beautiful thing to see.
