We're not talking about deer or bunny rabbits here..

That was more in response to his comment of killing coyotes.

I'm not an alligator rights advocate, but I'm not going to go around killing each one I see either.

A shame that big boy was slaughtered unnecessarily.

All the bleeding hearts are safely in non gator country - as are their children and pets - Im a bigger animal lover than probably 99% of the folks on this forum - I dont eat meat because of it - but predators like giant gators and coyotes - I would shoot on sight.

Coyotes I can understand, since they are not native to this area.  And fwiw, I don't really have an issue with them killing this particular gator.  But why would you shoot one on site if it is just doing its thing and not presenting any threat to people?

If any of you soft hearts really gave a fug about animals you would stop eating meat.  Those animals have no choice in the torture their lives are made of and in how they die.

Meh, there are plenty of alligators now, no sense in wasting the money to relocate it. It had become a nuisance animal. If it was bold enough to ****** an 80 lb. dog, then it could just as easily have snatched a 50 lb. child.

Best part of the video is in the last seconds you can hear one of the rednecks hauling it off saying, "That's dinner right thar!"

Difference being, a 50 lb. child wouldn't run right at the Gator wanting to play.  Dogs are st00pid.

"I'm an animal lover, but I'll shoot one I don't like on site simply for existing."

I thought the same thing myself..  although I would have to agree on the coyote thing, depending on how much they are ruining a particular county...  They can erode an ecosystem when they get over-populated.
