YOLO!

The mistake that will come back to haunt us MKG over Barnes?

WOW, you popped out of no where like the rain on a normal North Carolina day.

But, like I said I care more about on court performance than what the stats says. Stats doesnt always tell everything behind something. It's sort of like we are led to believe that you are a mature 36 years old "man", but really in reality you are more like a 20 years old Senior in HS.

More like " I choose to be lazy and make statements with no proof of them being true".

Who created numbers? Why is one, one?? Why cant one, be two? Why cant all numbers be alphabets? Why cant we spell our names with numbers instead of alphabets? Yea, go away.

Numbers say that MKG was better then Barnes  while playing the same amount of time. Taking the same amount of shots (MKG shot a higher %) . While not playing with David Lee, Steph, and Klay.

Then that would make you a hypocrite. You denied that Barnes ceiling was Pierce, but are led to believe that MKG will be better than Pippen?

I do hope that MKG can become the next Pippen but really over the years who have ever become the next Pippen? No one. Lets cut it out and get back to reality. MKG ceiling is Iggy, and the closest thing he has to a Chicago Bulls player is Loul Deng, not Pippen.

I would take a Loul Deng ceiling and call it a great pick by Cho if MKG ever reached that point in his career. Both players are very similar just look at the stats. Deng was also a good defender/bad shooter just like MKG in his early years. He has greatly improved that area and became an All Star player for the Bulls.

MKG had always drawn compairson to Iggy/Wallace/Pippen, but I see a lot of Deng in him. I have compared him in the past to Deng too. We or I like to compared him to Iggy and the other guys bc it "sounds good", but really MKG draws a lot of comparison to Deng. And I'll even go on to say that MKG is very similar to Kawhi Leonard, but more athletic.

Didn't Iggy just put the next "Paul Pierce" on the bench.

Numbers say that D12 was better playing with guys like Lewis, Pietrus, Gortat, Redick, and Nelson than playing with Kobe, Gasol, and Nash.

Ever see Loul Deng play? MKG is nothing like him.

Barnes best case... is a poor mans JJ Reddick or an autistic Kyle Korver.

Possibly a Robert Horry if he had Tourette's and Dementia.

You're right Chuck

A younger healthier Magic D12 look better then a Older, coming off of a major injury and still dealing with back and shoulder problems Laker D12.

Beyond the fact we're talking about 1 season compared to 8.

You almost made a point here.

    • I believe I need to address something that a lot of us don't get on this forum.  The past is the past. People come and go. There have been good times, and bad. Everything changes at some point. However, as we embark this offseason, I challenge everyone to say goodbye. What has happened in the past is now the past. Nothing we do changes that. Many here are stuck in this mode that we're in 2016. Some even go as far as saying we're back tracking to 2015. We can relish those memories and scorn the bad, but the fact is this is 2017. We are not the 2015 Panthers, the 2016 Panthers, or the 2011 Panthers. We are entering a new stage in Panthers history. 2017 will be nothing like any team of years past. Coaches and players alike will learn from past mistakes and attempt to fix it. New guys will come in and add new wrinkles to our game. New fans will come in to add their flair. I challenge everyone to not fallback into the past. Don't hold on to things that will never change. Look to the future. Say goodbye.  Fall Forward.
    • I will stop being a Hornets fan until MJ and Cho are gone if this happens
