Guys: it's two unpadded practices. Do you need a "Jump to Conclusions" mat?

Gross said more than once that part of the reason he was as good as he was is because he practiced against the old #90. Just sayin.... Let the 2 Samoans make each other better...

Why do you think the Lions, Browns, Jaguars or Bucs haven't been able to do anything in years? They don't practice against anybody good...ever....

Yep. Julius Peppers made Jordan Gross look like a wasted pick for the first few practices his rookie year. It happens.

We knew Star was gonna be raw. I'm not worried.

Im more interested in any trend we see in the preseason as far as strengths and weaknesses go. But yeah people in here lack perspective

I'm going to wait until tomorrow to form my own opinion on the battle between Star vs Amini. I think the outcome will be different and Star will hold his own, all in all its going to be good battle to watch all training camp.

As already stated, we're two practices into tc and they haven't even put pads on. Star is going to be a great DT for us and Amini is quickly becoming a powerhouse for our run game. We can't just give into despair and write any player off at this early point....Star could start river dancing when the ball is snapped and he'd still be an upgrade from Fua.....

i love that there's already an intense competition between silatolu and the death star. peppers made gross better, cam and luke are making each other better... intense competition with elite guys is going to bring the best out of everyone. skill begets skill. this is nothing but good news.

Youd be a fool to judge Star before the pads are on.

Yep, Peppers and Jenkins made our O-Line better. They became straight up maulers in 2003. Amini is gonna make Death Star better and Star is gonna make the Tongan Kaiju better.

You guys can make fun of it all you want but I'm really not happy about our 1st round pick being owned by a guy who wouldn't even be starting on most teams. Hopefully Star just needs to get acclimated though.

Are you on crack

Great write- up swag. Love to hear Amini looked good today. He'll need to be solid this year for our offense to realize its potential.
