The pads are popping at #PanthersCamp. That sound means football is getting closer. pic.twitter.com/gJdf184uUM

Max Henson @PanthersMax 4m

Panthers just drilled run fits between the tackles. Couple big collisions, most notably between Kuechly and Tolbert.

Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 3m

OL Jeff Byers and Edmund Kugbila not practicing today.

Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 21m

Pretty sure Ron Rivera would say WR Ted Ginn Jr. flashed today. Former 49er is having a nice practice, trying to earn playing time in 2013.

Cat Scratch Reader @CatScratchReadr 20m

Nortman puts too much air into it and punts it way too short.

Nortman needs to get his shxt together. Pronto.

Standing on the sideline, getting the play call and going through assignments, alignments and reads in your head.

My two biggest concerns:

Cat Scratch Reader ‏@CatScratchReadr 29m
Nakamura beaten by the Clausen to Adams connection for a TD.

and

our kicking/punting units. (I could start a thread on how this could cost is several close games)

Carolina Panthers @Panthers 20m

So far, WR @TedGinnJr_19 has been impressive in the first padded practice of #PanthersCamp, displaying great hands. And yeah, he's fast.

Joe Person @josephperson 20m

Josh Thomas tackles Smith after a completion. Smith gets up, spins ball.

Smitty does his signature spin spike after making a catch over Josh Thomas on a slant route.

Jonathan Jones @jjones9 20m

Not surprising the offense is showing up the defense in 7v7

I don't know whether to "ugh" or be happy that he's repping with the 3rd string.

I have to say, after seeing all the tweets from the first two days, it actually is surprising that the offense is showing up the defense. Didn't get that impression from previous practices.
