ill never forget bob christian thanks to that game. lol, john kasay looks like a rag-a-muffin in that pic!! i think both teams looked really classy then, dont know wtf happened with jacksonville over time...only major uniform adjustment we've made just won the greatest uniform in history contest :P

18 years ago on this date, the Panthers took the field for the first time to play the Jags in the HOF game.

I didn't realize how late they had started pushing the season. A preseason game in July in 1995. Here in 2013 training camp has just begun. I bet you had some dangerously hot preseason games in all those pads in those days.

I was there. Was watching from about fifteen feet away when Steve Lofton batted down that final pass.

No sunscreen left me french fried for a week, but it was worth it :)
