It is amusing to see someone who suggests Intelligent Design should be taught in science classes along side the Theory of Evolution "to encourage critical thinking" laugh at other people when it comes to education.

TL;DR Version:  I laugh at your laughing.  laughing-dog-smiley-emoticon.gif

i'm not for ID being taught in school. ideally it would be good for both sides of the issue if BOTH evolution and ID could possibly be taught but i totally understand the founding fathers and why they said separation of church and state.

there is no, i repeat, there is no diabolical James Bond super villain attempt to have ID taught in schools and the way they get there is to under fund them and drive out teachers and further push the school off the system so no more businesses want to come here, you know, those big biz's that the GOP is in bed with.

it's budgets.

so i ask you that i guess lean left or vote Dem's i will ask the way you like to bring up when a Rep is talking about money the Dem's always go where was this before Iraq?

where was all this intense focused interest on the well being of NC schools? show me your posts from 2012 or 2011 or 2008 about the future of schools and funding or lack there of.

quit trying to frame the narrative as removing evolution to gain public support simply to oust the other party who is finally in charge for the first time since maybe when there was no running water in homes. lol

Previous pstall quote:

Of the states listed, looks like only Tennessee more or less began to have intelligent design taught. Other states went back and forth but looks like either some compromises where made but don't you worry no creationsim being taught there.

I do like this concept from TN and it's may take on this subject. Why not teach both and allow critical thinking? Oh I know. Some minds are made up and we won't have any critical thinking going on here unless its on a subject I agree with.

Question:

Are you under the impression that a large group of actual scientist think that evolution isn't true and that ID is actual science?

Do you think this is an actual controversy in the scientific community? It's a social controversy not a scientific one.

I really recommend this video. This is molecular biologist Ken Miller. He is a Christian and a sceintist. He teaches at Brown and testified in the Dover case. Anyways he's a good listen.

I mean that and that he was being completely sarcastic. There won't be a video of Stewart doing from years ago because he doesn't attack liberal states when they are in charge
