Tony Stewart likely out for the season with a broken leg

It doesn't say it in the article but the chances of any driver coming back from a broken leg in the same year would be slim to none. Recovery time is usually 12-16 weeks plus rehab time. Hell, if it's bad enough this may even be the end for Smoke.

Tony is a racer soI doubt its the end for smoke..he will miss the chase but I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the car before Miami.

I know people who have broke their legs and never walked right again so that's why I said it could potentially be the end of his career. I doubt it very seriously but you never know. 

 

 

Time in a cast alone is 12-16 weeks so that would be putting it very close to the end of the season and after that there's still rehab to do so I really don't think he'll be back in the car this year.

Why would a broken leg stop someone from driving a car? Long term I mean.
