Johnny Football may not see the field this season

Looks like the situation with Johnny Manziel and being paid for autographs is getting worse.  Article discusses a second autograph session where he was paid $7,500 to autograph 300 helmets.

Real chance he does not play at all this year....god what an idiot.

the attention span of a gnat

cannot see what tomorrow hold and just lives for the day.

he would most likely crash and burn anyway if he made it into the NFL.

give this kid 15 million and watch him self destruct.

Bet he does not even go now until the 2nd or 3rd round

Keep in mind, many said the same stuff about Cam... Look at him now.

As I keep saying, he's only 20... we all did really stupid stuff at that age.

That being said, I didn't read the article, but I'm wondering how the NCAA can prove it if 1) those involved don't talk to them or don't talk details st least and 2) if he was paid in cash. Good luck proving it then.

Brokers are saying they won't cooperate with the NCAA in the investigation.

Johhny Manziel doesn't seem like the kind of kid to do a coordinated autograph signing in private for a broker to benefit off of for free.  That said, the NCAA needs proof.

As I said, the NCAA needs the accusers to talk or have a paper trail - which apparently they don't have either of...  Once again, proving they are USELESS and need to disband.  Oh that's right, they won't because they're making money off of all these slaves, err...  I mean, student-athletes.

This makes Skip Bayless' constant touting of Manziel's character even funnier.

This is just straight up moronic. It's a well known fact that the dudes parents are filthy rich so I doubt he needed that money. If the truth was known though I'd guess that poo like this happens a lot.

I think the NCAA will get someone to talk, whether they want to or not.  The brokers have a paper trail for sure.  They are under the impression that if they cooperate with the NCAA, Johnny will be done.

Yeah, but how are they going to get him to talk? Like how they did with the Miami investigation? Lol... idk, I just hate the ncaa and think their rules are stupid and self-serving. But, you're likely right.

If Manziel didn't demand payment in cash only, then he doesn't deserve to play football this year anyway.

I'm definitely not saying it's going to be pretty.  The infractions committee is full of less than moral characters.  They will get their answers if they want them.

I can imagine Manziel did demand cash only.
