I'm not a fan of pro baseball but I do realize what Ernie Banks did for the sport.

He also deserved that award.

@InsideCarolina: Dean Smith's family saying "we know he would be humbled" - that tense hits home.

 

Sad that Dean's condition has led to his inability to really comprehend this honor
