I actually like Romo as long as he stays in Dallas. He's just good enough to give them hope, but not good enough to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Just like Cam and Panthers, hopefully he gets a fat contract next year and makes it impossible to not play him, even of he gets worse.

His contract won't be as fat as you due to salary cap constraints.

this is my philosophy as well. keep them out of contention for franchise-type players in the early rounds of the draft but let them slither out of the playoffs by one game annually. i hope they keep romo around for the length of his contract.

I also get some schadenfreude from watching the Dallas fans meltdown.

I understand the hate as well as anyone, but C'MON man. Both our teams have fielded at least one Billy Joe at one time or another, you and I both know the difference between utter garbage and Romo.

I'm testing how far Alejandro's love for Romo goes

Tony Romo is utter garbage as a QB. Not even top 15.

i thought dallas fans were only ignorant enough to believe that

Not even top 15?

http://espn.go.com/n...ingYardsPerGame

They list 11 different stats categories for all the QBs, Romo is no lower than 10th in any of the 11 and within top 5 in most, care to explain the criteria you used to say Romo is not even top 15 basically meaning he is in bottom half of starting QBs? He was 10th ranked by passer rating of 90.5, consequently the worst passer rating of his entire career, last year. On the other hand, Ryan has a career rating of 90.9, just 0.4 higher than Romos worst performance and 5.2 points below Romos career average.

and people say saints fans aren't just disgruntled closet cowboy fans

Romo has always had great #'s for the 1st 5 weeks of the season. Then he has his 5 game slump. Which follows a desperate attempt to make playoffs. Which always results in him being hinged to the final play of the biggest game of the season. At which point he either throws an int, fumbles the snap, or loses control while holding for his kicker. So for all the flaming Romosexuals, I declare him a Big Game Loser!
