I've got a jar of kimchi in my fridge i need to finish up so i can go get some more. i need to start making my own.

The biggest problem with eating kimchi is that it always makes me want soju, and soju unleashes a dark dark side of me...

i actually had a pimento cheese burger this summer. very tasty.

Best burger I had this summer was a jalapeño and cream cheese burger. I probably would have never ordered it were it not advised by a trusted source, but it was awesome.

Is it simply possible that we just didn't look THAT good against a talented team that seems rejuvenated under a new coach in a tough place to play? Philly is philly, regardless of preseason/regular season. It wasn't pretty, sure, but it sure wasn't the end of the world. Things I am concerned with:

1. Cam's still overthrowing and his throwing motion is still looking forced. Id love to see him work on his touch/ use a little more overall body movement in his throws. He'd unstoppable if we could fix these things.

2. The offensive lines run blocking. I'm not so worried about the line giving Cam time as I am them opening holes for DeAngelo. Its frustrating seeing a pile of bodies going nowhere tht DeAngelo runs into.

3. Starting Cap't over Thomas/Norman. I don't remember the ranking or the number but I do remember Capt being rated really highly in the nickle. Keep the trio of Thomas/Norman/Florence as your main primary outside guys.

Ok, I don't have time to sit here and argue with you idiots. Yes it's only Preseason. Everyone knows that.

What will be the excuse in nov? We need time to get going??

I still don't think you get it, honestly.

Most regular season NFL games come down to a series or less. Some come down to a matter of inches.

How can you be upset about not winning a preseason game when entire 4th quarters are played by guys that won't even be on the team in a couple of weeks? Are you under the impression that any coach in the league looks at the score of a preseason game? The last coach that cared about a preseason score was Steve Spurrier when he ran it up in preseason. How did he turn out?

Don't pay attention to who is starting in preseason. It isn't a final depth chart.

Don't walk up to the cliff edge until the bye week. If this team is on life support after the third game then it will be evident that the sheeeet has hit the fan. The best tact for all of our sanity is to step back and look at things as they are. Let's hope for a positive season and that we stay healthy and improve. We are in a very tough division with a killer schedule with a team starting to put the pieces together.i hope they win and find the formula needed to do so,but if they don't life goes on. Enjoy every Sunday no matter what may happen, it is still only a game.

I agree 100%.  One of the things we should probably practice in a practice game is WINNING.  We should try to win this game.  If we do try to win and we end up losing, fine.  But if we go into the reg season following the philosophy of just "evaluating talent" and not "showing our playbook," then we won't know WTF to do when the Seahawks take it to us at home in week 1.

If there's one thing this team needs, it is to feel like winners. Sure, we beat the Bears, but we weren't trying to win.  THis John Fox style "preseason doesn't count" mentality might have been okay while he was here, because it was clear that the team kicked it up a notch in the reg season.  With Rivera, this has not been clear.

Practice winning!  Preseason 4 isn't worth trying to win. THat's just to see who the 3rd stringers will be.  Preseason 3 is the real test.  Let's actually try to pass the test instead of fugging up, then saying its just a practice test.

Here is the funny thing. Ron Rivera has came out and preached about wanting to win the games and about using the preseason to develop that winning culture. He's talked about it a lot. Don't get caught up in what people here are saying. What they're saying doesn't match up with the words of the coaches and players.

Lol, what is he supposed to say? Nah, we are more interested in getting a look at all the players than winning? I'm sure that would sell a lot of preseason tickets.

Of course everyone wants to win the game.

Rivera is not gonna say "Alright boys!! Let's go out there and lay an egg!! If we lose beers are on me! Let's lose this one for the Gipper!!11!"

The point is that winning is not the main objective of what coaches are trying to achieve. They are trying to stay healthy, get some live action hits, and evaluate players on the brink (although even that will be done more in practice than the games). Winning is last on the objective list.

Oh, and again, we have already won a preseason game. So what is all the fuss about?
