I see a sloppy 9-7 season. And this is how it plays out...

I think you need a break from your thread creating privileges for awhile. It's like TruCatzFan never left.

Call me weird, but I won't be trying to figure out how we do until I see our third preseason game.  I think the offense has been deliberately vanilla, but the defense does worry me.

Actually, the scenario painted by the OP seems plausible.  However, I think we go into the bye at 2-1, rather than 1-2, beating the Bills and G-men.

Also, I doubt 9-7 will be enough for the playoffs.  It will depend on our conference record.  The way you have it, we would be 7-5 in the conference.  That's probably not good enough, but it might be.  BTW, you have us at 3-3 in the division, which seems about right.

I agree that 9 wins is probably the ceiling for this team.  Anything more and we will have overachieved.  Should we really expect a Ron RIvera coached football team to overachieve?  Seems unlikely.

Nice try, but I see us more like 8-8 or even as bad as 6-10. We have a brutal schedule.  As to whether Rivera gets to keep his job...right now I'm betting he doesn't.
