ESPN ranks Cam Newton the 100th best offensive player in league

87 posts in this topic

It has become apparent to me that ESPN's and NFL.com's coverage of the Carolina Panthers and in particular, Cam Newton is being used as some sort of clandestine, mind-fukk study.  We are guinnea pigs in some sort of baseline study that is trying to determine how much shiit one fanbase can digest.  Don't know about you guys but I am full.

It appears they are purposely spouting opnions and quasi-facts of ever increasing stupidity that make no sense to even the most casual fan just to see what reaction there is to it and I honestly believe they giggle in the corner every time something like this comes out.

<Hey, watch what happens when we put Cam at number 100 on our list...the reaction should be CLASSIC!!>

I hope foxsports1 runs espn out of business but I don't even blink at crap like this anymore.

This is how I see the season ending...

Cam puts his trademark towel on his head and tells ESPN to get off their knees as he accepts their apologies.

How the hell can they even come up with 99 other offensive players in the NFL? Much less that are better than Cam. I mean, that list has to be full of some scrubs.

"Um, who are we going to put 98th? Uh. How about that one back-up right guard for the Patriots. I mean, he plays for the Patriots, he's got to be great."

2 long snappers in front of Cam...

Same network that has Skip Bayless Tweet: Seattle looks like they will unseat Denver as the biggest threat to the Patriots in the AFC.

Seriously... It is like Sigh said... They are giggling trying to get hits and other crap.
