Interesting tidbit on Beason's restructure...FA at end of the Season?

Gross' deal screams he is retiring. He also seems to be taking a noted interest in transitioning into a new possible career with his This Is Gross project.

Agree completely.

Who?

Gross is old and just essentially reworked his deal as if he was about to walk away.

Stewart is an expensive luxury who seems to be having a tougher time with his nagging injuries....and we added another Oregon RB who could really be ready to get reps after a year under his belt

Realistically, I think both are prime candidates for this to be there last year.

Lol, you're jumping ahead again. You better learn to pace your expectations because Barner isn't going to be our starter this yea, nor next year. D-Will, J-Stew and Tolbert are gonna handle the load again (leaving Barner with minimal snaps).

The fact is Stewart is still young and been durable for majority of his career. Unless he struggles this year, the thought of G-Man releasing Stewart is absurd. Then again, you are the idiot who believes Gettleman is itching to unload Cam Newton.

Said nothing about Barner starting this year...

Next year, said with a year under his belt he would be ready for real reps. Real reps in a committee. He doesn't need to replace a starter....just be part of a committee

as far as Newton goes in a post Rivera era....I just acknowledge NFL history with new coaches. NFL history suggests no one should want RR fired....

Regardless, this squad still needs a starter. Barner isn't that type of back. Stewart fits that mold.

New coach means new molds ...

New GM as well....and he will be coming off a year sitting on his hands

And yet, G-Man is a fan of the power running game.

All you have are assumptions.

We already had a full deck at the RB position, you don't draft a player like Barner with a roster like we have unless you have specific plans. I think they see Stewart/Barner as the future of our backfield, which is why they are content to let Stewart sit on his butt until he's completely healed. They're thinking long term.

I see Poole sticking around as well.

Seems to be, guy is a media dude who specializes in such information.

Apparently he talked about it on WFNZ weeks ago and it slipped through the cracks.

Probably in an interview with Marc James where James asked a seventeen minute

question and left four seconds to answer before a hard break.

An expensive injury prone RB isn't the model where he comes from....

Remember Earth, Wind and Fire? They emerged when Double Trouble did. It worked and they quickly dismantled it.

New HC paired with our new GM means change.....and DG was handicapped from change. Wouldn't be if RR is gone. What the changes are is a guess....but big change would come
